The Orange Mound Tower is a 10 acre industrial site located on Lamar avenue. The planned commercial real estate development will include art making spaces, galleries, artists residency space, studios, commercial and office space, a recording studio, performance venue, and a courtyard. In reimagining the current blighted site as a hub for Black innovation current residents of Orange Mound, Black creatives, and entrepreneurs alike will gain access to resources, opportunities, and space that will be transformative as we reimagine the future of Memphis and developments that center the community.
